Romana´s screenplay for the short film "Where the wild roses grow" is semi finalist in the WriteMovies.com International Writing Competition #22.
The film (starring Katja Benrath, Tony Matzl and Kai Peterson) is currently in post production.

The first short film of our production company Film´84 International has entered the Short Film Corner of the Cannes Film Festival 2011.
The film is about John, a young, weedy man working in an antique shop. When he finds a trunk with the note „Make a wish“ on it, he wishes for a girlfriend. But he doesn´t really get what he had hoped for.

Together with Theresa König, Stefan Bartunek and Reinhard Steiner, Romana Carén played a role in the short film "Unique", directed by Louis-Jeremy Spiess. The film will be shown in Vienna's Cinemagic cinema as part of the Blitzblau Premiere on 12 November 2008.
